This 1/4″ Galvanized Cable is 7 x 19 aircraft cable, which we custom cut to the length the customer chooses.

Boat Lift Distributors uses 7 x 19 aircraft cables for all of our boat lift applications. In this case, the 7 x 19 specification means the rope has seven strands, each strand containing nineteen wires.  Aircraft Cables are not suitable for use in aircraft.

But don’t just take our word for it – our 1/4″ cable is put through rigorous testing to ensure its performance meets the highest standards. With a minimum breaking strength of 7,000 pounds and a safety workload of 1,750 pounds, this cable is able to withstand even the most demanding applications.

 Please be aware BLD will not accept any returns on 1/4″ Galvanized Cable that’s cut to custom lengths.
